FAQ

frequently asked questions

LV Craft Shows® Frequently Asked Questions

  • Do I need to wear a mask?

LV Craft Shows will be following the rules given by each facility/venue and the local authorities.

  • Can I bring my dog/pet?

Tivoli Village welcomes all dogs/pets. All of our other venues only allow certified service animals.

  • Is there a food court or a place to buy food?

YES! We provide a unique selection of food trucks at our Tivoli Village and Silverton events. In addition, most venues have either some restaurants, food courts, or concession stands, but we hope you'll try our food trucks first.

  • Do you need any volunteers?

Yes, we can always use volunteers to assist at our events. Please contact us at info@lvcraftshows.com for information.

VENDORS/EXHIBITORS:

  • Do I need to have a business license or seller’s permit?

We do advise for all vendors to obtain a State of Nevada business license, a City of Las Vegas business license, and a State of Nevada Tax ID. However, LV Craft Shows®️ will obtain a one-time event permit for each vendor for each show and the City of Las Vegas vendor permit. There will be a $10 fee (per show day) for the CoLV permit. We suggest that you contact the State of Nevada/City of Las Vegas for more information.

  • Do I need insurance?

We do strongly recommend it to give you the best possible protection at all your events and beyond.

Artists & crafters can purchase a policy on-line, and it’s easy to secure per show or annually. Check out www.actinspro.com. There are other options as well. Feel free to reach out for details.

Please make sure to add LV Craft Shows LLC as the additional insured, as well as the venues.

  • Food Vendors:

If you are planning to sell any type of food or are offering samples of food (including dips), please make sure you have the necessary paperwork and permits needed. You will need either a health permit and or cottage license letter, TFE, business license, and insurance. Some may also need a specific sampler’s permit. In addition, it will be YOUR responsibility to provide any of the items the health department requires (hand washing station, water container, cooler, etc.). Contact https://snhd.info for information.

Please upload the required paperwork to your vendor portal account (under documents) and be sure to have it with you at time of the event.

Handing out any food made at home without a cottage license is not permitted! Not even as a gift.

  • Do I need to donate a gift?

You do not need to, but it is greatly appreciated.

If we do drawings, then we do ask for vendors to please donate a drawing gift (valued at $15 or more) to be used at our drawings in support of Sir’s Rescue Rangers animal rescue. 100% of the money from sold drawing tickets will be taken to Grand Montecito Animal Hospital and applied to Sir’s Rescue Rangers’ vet bill. Every dollar helps!

Should we not be able to do drawings (due to COVID), we would appreciate a $5 or more cash/check donation to the rescue. It is tax deductible.

  • Do you need any volunteers?

Yes, we can always use volunteers to assist at our events. Please contact us at info@lvcraftshows.com for information.

ATTENDEES:

  • Is there an admission fee?

Most of our shows are FREE. There may be an admission fee to our 3-day shows, of which a portion will be donated to Sir’s Rescue Rangers animal rescue. However, there will be some free ticket options given. Be sure to read the announcements closely.

  • Why do we have to pre-register for events with free admission?

It allows us to plan accordingly and to make sure that we have enough staff/volunteers on site, and it also allows us to notify you directly, should there be a change or cancelation, due to weather, etc..

  • Do your vendors take credit cards?

Most of our vendors take both cash and/or credit cards. If the show is held at a Casino property, you will find access to ATM’s if needed.

Please no $100 or $50 bills!

  • How much is parking?

At most venues we utilize, parking is free of charge. There may be exceptions in case the facility is charging parking fees.

  • Do you allow strollers, wheelchairs or scooters?

Yes, all of the above are allowed.

  • Do you rent wheelchairs or scooters?

Depends on the facility. Some of the venues may rent them. We suggest contacting the venue for information.
